Teachers Appreciation Day

Teachers Appreciation Day

The management, staff, and students of Diamonds International School (DIS) are thrilled to announce plans for a special celebration of Teacher’s Day on Monday, October 6, 2025.

While World Teachers’ Day officially falls on Sunday, October 5th, DIS is dedicating the following Monday—the first school day—to ensuring our incredible educators receive the recognition they truly deserve. This year’s celebration is themed: “Our Teachers: Recasting Brilliance Through Collaboration,” aligning with the global emphasis on the power of teachers working together to transform education.

The purpose of education is not only to impart knowledge but to ignite ambition, empowering individuals to strive for greatness and leave a lasting impact on the world.” -Nelson Mandela

The highlight of the day will be the exclusive Teacher’s Luncheon, hosted by the School Management and the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA). This formal event is a moment to publicly acknowledge outstanding contributions:

  • The Diamond of the Year Award: Presented to a teacher who has demonstrated exceptional collaborative effort and pedagogical innovation over the past year.
  • Long Service Honours: Recognising staff members who have reached significant service milestones with Diamonds International School.

We warmly invite the entire DIS community—students, parents, and alumni—to participate in making Monday, October 6th, 2025, a day where our teachers feel truly valued, reminding them that at Diamonds International School, their passion is the foundation upon which every brilliant future is built.
