1. Application Submission

 

  • Complete the Application Form: Fill out the official DIS online or physical application form completely.

  • Submit Documentation: Provide all required documents, which typically include:

    • Completed application form.

    • Copy of the student’s birth certificate or passport.

    • Official academic transcripts/reports from the previous two years.

    • Confidential recommendation/transfer forms from the previous school (if applicable).

    • Non-refundable application fee payment.

2. Assessment and Interview

 

  • Entrance Assessment: Applicants will be required to sit for an age-appropriate entrance assessment covering core subjects such as English Language and Mathematics.

  • Interview: All candidates may be invited for an interview with the Head of Section or the Admissions Committee. This is an opportunity to gauge the student’s social skills, personality, and motivation. For parents, it is a chance to discuss the student’s needs and the school’s expectations.

3. Review and Offer

 

  • The Admissions Committee reviews the complete application file, assessment results, and interview feedback.

  • If accepted, the family will receive an official Letter of Offer detailing the student’s placement, financial terms, and the deadline for acceptance.

4. Acceptance and Enrollment

 

  • To secure the offered place, parents must sign and return the Enrollment Contract and pay the stipulated non-refundable enrollment deposit by the deadline specified in the Letter of Offer.

  • Failure to accept the offer by the deadline may result in the place being offered to another candidate.
